Wild animals are not meant to be in direct contact with humans. That being said attacks may happen while on a safari trek. The Big Five (Lions, Buffalo, Elephant, cheetahs, and rhinos), are the most commonly seen animals and the most commonly known to attack humans. Although, any animal who feels threatened or is hungry could potentially attack. Having a Guide who knows the environment and layout of the area could be very helpful in keeping your distance from those animals, and preventing injuries.
